Will the trailing arm fron an '81 924 4 lug, 5 speed interchange with an early '77?

Yes, 924, 931, 944, 4-bolt, 5-bolt with all the various gearboxes all take the same part from early '76-'85. The part number changed with 944, but the earlier 477. part is superceeded by the 944. part, so they're all interchangeable up to '85. Things changed with the 924S and 944-2 later in '85 and these later ones wouldn't be usable. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."
