Broadfoot Racing dropped off my 924S today, we still have a few minor things to finish stage 1, but he knew that I needed it this week, so we will add the power pulleys and new exhaust in a few weeks. This 924 has a special meaning to me, I got it from a friend who has cancer and wanted to trick this car out, but I'm (with huge help from Albert Broadfoot) will be able to take him to his treatment on Wednesday, as this car had been sitting a few years and a few fuel related things went bad. Over the weekend Albert found and fixed the starting problem, checked & adjusted the belts, added a cam, adj cam gear, powder coated cam housing & intake, turbo injectors, headers, cat by-pass and generally checked it over. The car sounds & runs great!!

From everything I've read about them you have my deepest sympathies.
Search Pelican. I see you've already found one post. |

Well, I can tell you differnt, the guy with the engine on PP, didn't follow instructions and have the oil pump upgraded as told and has changed stories more than once. I have known Broadfoot for 20 years, he built the tranny in this 924S with short gears many years ago and it still runs great, he also rebuilt & warmed up the 3.0 in my SC cab a few years ago, as he will be doing for my coupe this summer. Being a one man shop, he does take more time than the larger shop who might have a porter changing your oil and he isn't the only one who can be hard to reach, I still haven't head back from PMO, and I need the fuel logs they sell for my 914-6GT clone, and try and catch Hank at GT Racing, yet no one is running them in the ground, or TRG, for sending the wrong parts over & over again. Albert isn't perfect, but the guy who has made that post on the engine had blown a engine up before, the reason he bought one from Albert, but it is very clear that somebody didn't flush their oil cooler & lines for both engines to suffer the same damage, I saw this happen at the Rolex one time, a very well known team kept blowing engines (935 engines too) and it took a retired IMSA tech, whom Brumos had brought over a decade before to point it out and he was correct, there was trash in the line, starving the engine. I stand behind Albert Broadfoot because of what I have seen first hand. _________________ Racer BVD
