I am ready to paint the 1979 924 I restored. It's original color is a darker green metallic. I want to paint it the same color. I know where the paint code plate is in the compartment where the blower vent and wiper motor are but the code itself is faded and unreadable. Does anyone know where I can find a paint color and code list? I saw one last year while 'surfing the net' but didn't think to bookmark the location and now can't find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, John

John, there should also be a printed label with engine, chassis, etc numbers along with the paint and trim codes stuck to the inside rear panel of the rear hatch (behind the carpet over the spare wheel).

It's made of paper, so if there's been any leaks or general maltreatment in that area it might not survive too long...
