When ever I start my 924S at temperatures below freezing, I hear a wierd groan after my starter kicks out. If the temperature gets down around 10 degrees F the groan is longer, maybe half a second. I am certain it has something to do with the starter kicking out, because that is when I hear it, not when the starter is engaged.
Any clues as to the possible threat? Or is it just a harmless noise? |

Probably just the starter bendix or solenoid sticking which delays the starter gear from pulling back from the ring gear. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"
