Hey,

Next summer holdiay ( Juli 2006 ) i'm in Canada with my family.
Are here any members who lives in Canada?
Maybe it's a fun idea to organise a meeting in the neighbourhood?
Are there by the way any GTS's in Canada.

The 924 GTS ( or even better the GTR ) is THE car of my dream!

Regards Leander

yeah Canada is a pretty big country but most of it is just wilderness etc.

most of the major cities and poplulation is located near the border of the states. Only 30 something million in such a huge country. But higher up the wheather is crazy cold so probably why very few people live in those areas.

Yes, the West Coast! There should be a good number out there, especially in Edmonton, Alberta! Have fun!

I'm in Edmonton! I haven't seen a GTS around here, if I did I would have bought it by now. I'm sure we can work out a meeting in the summer.

I live east of Vancouver. Let me know when you plan on arriving and we can get together. I was born in Amsterdam.

Me too !!

No not really.I just wanted you guys to think I was cool.

But I used to hang out at the Amsterdam Cafe in Gastown before the coppers shut it down.
I'll be living in downtown Vancouver by next summer so definitly give us a holler.

May I ask why you're going to Red Deer ? it seems like kind of a weird place to go to if your coming all the way from the Netherlands.

I went to amsterdam 2 years ago, I got robbed by and old lady crackhead first day there at the trainstation. she came up to me asking for change, she looked like a nice old lady with missing teeth so I took out some money and she grabbed it all and ran and then turned around and laughed at me and then ran again.....

oew.. thats mean.. u know.. it only happens in Amsterdam.

How cool is that... u all grown up in The Netherlands sounds awsome!

uhm. the reason we travel trough Red Deer is cause an aunt of me lives there.

hmm.. we stay i guess 4 nights in Vancouver.. maybe it's a idea..

and about 2 weeks later we stay in Edmonton for 3 nights... so..

Come up with ideas !

Regards Leander

I'm in Nova Scotia, so if you want to drive for a few days, we can meet.

Edmonton, Jasper and Red Deer are all nice places. Vancouver British Columbia is also very nice. Have fun.

That's a "Tim" story all right. You have the worst luck and it's a little funny. OK it's a lot funny!

Sure Canada is a big place, but we all know eachother anyways. I don't know how often an American will ask me "do you know Jimmy McClellan?" My reply is always "Of COURSE I know Jimmy, we were good friends growing up!"

There are quite a few members around the Vancouver region, as well as a few in the interior of the province. Vancouver is on the coast, and you will have to drive all the way across the province of British Columbia to reach Jasper and Red Deer, which are in the neighbouring province of Alberta.

Sorry I couldn't find a better map than that online, doesn't show where Red Deer is, but it's a couple hundred kilometers east of Jasper, and south of Edmonton.

Regards Leander
