There's a post somewhere with all the shots from the bodykit conversion... but here are some old and recent one of the car.... yes it needs a wash but at least you get an idea of the look with the rear valance added.

Yes... front seats slide forward but don't pivot from the upper section so getting into the rear would have been a pain anyway...
but I can still fit my surfboard inside...

Washed the car today... anyone used one of those oates mits... the ones which don't use detergent but just use water?? I'm a little hesitant in that it might scartch up the paintwork...
Heater control is now wired in through the switch just left of where the cig lighter is...
for some reason the fan would stay on and blow a little, so I pulled out the control assy and just wired it in through the switch to come on full.
If you have a two position switch it would be easy enough to wire in a slower speed using a resistor inline.
The assembly when pulled apart kind of reminded me of the scalextric throttles... not very high tech.
You could also wire in an iluminated switch as the power is 12V+
This has created room for the extra gauges I'm mounting, you can see the oil gauge ($38AUS + sender) in the centre of the aluminium in one of the shots. I never realised how long it took for the oil to reach operating temp... thanks to the oil cooler it now sits spot on 83degrees.
Next will be a temp sensor for the blower outlet and an air/fuel gauge.
thanks Joe, its nice coming from someone whos spent so much time on their car too.

i see you're running a Wolf 3d unit - any trouble getting it to work onthe 931.
Also I heard these units couldn't or wouldn't work with boosts over 14 pounds? _________________ Remember a Porsche is not just for Christmas,

John it's an N/A head running 8psi
no troubles apart from the cold starting, had initial problems with a TPS internal spring breaking - took me ages to find that one!!
I think 14 is the limit so far as the stock MAP sensor, not sure if in changing it for a 2 bar sensor would allow the extra boost.
There are 125RPM segments but only 16 load bands though, so things might get a little chunky with higher boost.
So far it's been a pleasure... the only discretid being that there are some function only accessible from the hand controller and some functions that can only be modified with a laptop, and between this there are a couple of functions that the manual doesn't cover at all... in fact the operation manual is pretty lame in that respect.
