So now I'm up and running. Thanks again Paul!

I've got a tube coming up into the engine compartment from the catalytic converter. It's presently making a hell of a hot spot on my hood, as well as a black spot of soot there too!

Is there a sensor or tube to attach it to? It HAS to go somewhere... I'd rather not crush it closed.

Now that it runs, drive it often in the twisties, especially on roads covered by trees in their fall foliage!

That tube should end on the firewall and should have a clamped on rubber cover.

It's used the check the emissions pre cat without getting under the car.
