Appears to be a nice write up...should be very helpful if I decide to go the front mount route. Now if only I could get some more response to my post on the best location... _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

That is a really clean installation. How much did your turbo lag increase? _________________ 1980 924 Turbo |

| Lag increased a little bit. The reason i chose relatively thin aluminium pipe was to try and reduce the amount of lag. It seems to be about right. It is 48mm internal bore pipe. I increased the boost to about 0.9 bar and it has more of a kick to it now. Best location is in the front as you get lots of cold air flowing over it. Refer to the book "Maximum boost" by C. Bell. It is a great book telling you everything about a turbo system. |
