I`m trying to glue the leather back on to my quarter trim panels. I had to take them off to replace the speakers, and I figured I might as well glue them back on to the fiberboard.
I bought some 3M spraycan adhesive, but it DOESN`t work. It downright sucks.
Any suggestions? |

Not a bad suggestion.
I have some of that yellow bugger in my toolbox at work.
Any other suggestions...in a spraycan form?
I`d hate to get my fingers all buggered up.... |

hit the 3M web site. I vaguely remember there was something almost as sticky as GS in a spray can.
Or you could get a pack of disposable latex gloves or some of that "gloves in a bottle" stuff. _________________ 1979 924 (Gone to a better place)

Contact cement is what we call it 'round these parts. Available as brush-on or spray-on. Apply to both surfaces, allow to dry to "tacky", put the parts together (laminates, fabrics, similar stuff) being careful to align things right the first time - because it won't want to come apart again. Auto stores, hardware stores, Home Depot, etc. carry it. I believe the 3M spray product here is called "Super 77". _________________ "..it's made in Germany.
