Anyone know what size the ID of the fuel line from the tank to the fuel pump is? Mine is about a foot or so long in an S-shape and is badly in need of replacement.

Thanks,

I used straight 1/2" fuel/eec/pcv hose, wrapped around the gas tank (to give it a gradual bend since it's not a preformed S shape). I don't know if anyone's tried it without, but it works fine with a working in-tank pump.

Smoothie,

I've used the 1/2" line without an intank pump. It worked alright but the line gave out on me recently. The local Porsche parts supplier just got the correct hose in from Germany and I should be putting it on this weekend.

The ID is 12 mm. The 1/2" is slightly too large and a 3/8" line is too small.
