I finally bit the bullet and had a local porsche race shop install the stock 930 wastegate that I picked up....the old one was bad, 17-20psi all the time before the cutoff---much fun on racegas, bad on the street.

This one definitely works, solid 9-11psi, and I can now rev it to redline. They did have to cut the wastegate exhaust tubing going to the cat to remove it, as my custom exhaust system (unknown to me) did not include a slip fitting for service. Oh well, need to get it rewelded this weekend.

Now I can autocross the car without shifting and lifting so much!!
