There's a thread in the For Sale..someone is redoing dashes, and they look pretty good..better than most dash caps IMO.

On my 88 924 I gave my son the plastic type. It looks good although trying to keep it on and straight might be a problem for some.

On the 79 931 I have the carpet type. I did not glue it down but did on the leading edge near the windshield with some tape.

I like the carpet type as there is no glare off it.

A few weeks ago I purchased a Molded Carpet dash cover. I have seen the plastic dash cover, and they did not fit right. The cheap carpet dash covers did not lay right.

About 45 to 50 dollars. I purchased at Advance Auto.

Take a look

Did you glue it down?

The front is wedge between windshield and dash. It is held in place with velcro. Since it is a molded dash, it is some what firm. It has held very well.

It does look nice! Where did you buy it in Rochester? I was in Rochester on Friday. How much did you pay?
