5 speed with about 130,000 kms on the clock. 15 pages of service history. Last front end service was 3 years ago. It's black on black although the exterior paint needs a rework and there is rust on the rockers. The interior has a crached dash and everythinmg else looks about mint for the age. Electric windows and mirrors, phone dial rims and no rear window wiper. $3,500 is the asking price and there's a few new fules lines, brakes, tires and a few odds and ends.
The owner is a 45ish year old guy who is very small and careful. <That's the way I would describe him. I can see that he's taken care of the car and I'm not worried about hidden anything. My Porsche mechanic knows him and he's owned the car for about 8 years. He works at a major dealership {salesman} and he's done all the work there. Reason for selling, he wants somthing newer than an 87.
I have to get rid of my Audi first and then I'll buy the S.
My 1977 924 Carrera GT replica will be sold in the spring to the highest bidder. I WON'T have 3 summer cars and I don't know why I'd keep the NA that's 10 years older than the S.
Also, my 1977 has been ALL AROUND THE WORLD! Bought in Germany, raced on the G'ring, Sold to a Man in Zurich, who eventually brought it to Australia, who sold it to someone in the USA, who sold it to a guy in Canada, then to me.
The asking price of the 924 CGT conversion will be $7,500 or near there. The entire braking system from all 4 pads to the calipers, to the rotors, to the rear wheel cylinders is new. The rear hatch seal, clutch and all components there, seats, camshaft, lifters, belts, water pump, plugs, cap & rotor are all new and have less than 7,000 kms on them. The suspension is as tight as can be and the motor and transmission is top notch too.
Any questions? |
