what do you mean modified the intake? do you mean shortened the runners, or switched to ITB, or what need more info as to what exactly you wish to do, other intakes have been done, however all custom jobs, most probably were NOT flow bench tested, nor made any real improvement without other modifications.

no bolt on except for the Weber redline throttlebody, but it isnt very easy to find (though I have 1 and will be listing it for sale once I am finished at the current job,
other than that you arent going to be able to buy anything, you will have to custom fab, and you wont gain much if any!

There is a RedLine Weber throttle body on eBay right now. If anyone has the exact part number, I am a RedLine Weber distributor and can find out if such an animal exists in the old warehouses.

The MK2 VW Jetta/Golf throttle body is a bolt on upgrade, as is the Audi 5000 throttle body. Both are larger than stock by a considerable margin, and can be found at junkyards all across the world.

The MK2 VW t/b would be my recommendation, for price and availability. When installing one, you'd have to port the intake manifold opening to be the same size as the larger throttle body, or it'll flow worse than with the original t/b.

A Weber Redline t/b will flow better than either, and have better throttle response. It would be especially beneficial for a turbocharged 924, which is why on the '81/'82 931, they adopted a large single blade throttle body like the Weber Redline.

you also must consider how the turbo hooks upto the intake as well.
as per the part #, I just looked and cannot find 1 on it, and it also has a base/adapter plate that doesnt have a part # either,

RedLine Weber part number TB8380, they are checking availability in their warehouses as we speak. I should know by Friday.

The Redline has an adapter to fit the regular stock opening, so why using the Audi TB would the manifold have to be Ported?Your not getting more air flow just a quicker throttle.I would think just an adapter if anything and just because it may "whistle" without it.

Just got off the phone with RedLine Weber, no part available any more, though they have seen interest. With the Weber factory shut down for a few years, when you're out of parts, you're out. Somebody grab that one on eBay then!

I've got an extra Audi TB (with bigger butterflies). I could send it to you for $30 shipped. I was planning on popping it onto ebay this week, along with a bunch of other bits.

Let me know,
