I was unlocking the driver's side door of my 78 924 from the insdie and the entire lock rod came out of the hole... Looks like a bent coat hanger with the knob still on it.

Has any one else ever experienced this? Is this an easy fix or does it require some special skills to take the door paneling off and play with the lock mechanism to reattach it.
