I was unlocking the driver's side door of my 78 924 from the insdie and the entire lock rod came out of the hole... Looks like a bent coat hanger with the knob still on it.
Has any else experienced this? Is this an easy fix or does it require some special skills?
Thanks in advance for any feedback. _________________ '78 924 N/A

It is very likely broken off at the point it attaches to the lock.
Remove the door liner and have a look, compare to the other side if need be, it is simple enough.
The wire is real tough but you might be able to reshape and fit. _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA
