hello im a soldier that bought a 924 but it is a 1985 and the problem is every place i look all they have parts for are 1982. is a 1985 924 comparable to 1982 cause i just cant find the parts. if you have any suggestions please help me

If you are here in the U.S. The last year that the original 924 was officially imported into the U.S. was model year 1982. As you have already found out, there are some later model year cars here in the U.S. that were privately imported into the U.S.

The later than 1982 model year cars that I have seen here are pretty much compatible with the 82 U.S. model year parts. Of course, since your car was privately imported, you are not going to get much support from U.S. dealers running down parts for a later model car that was not sold here.

You will find that most 82 924 model year parts are compatible, and that the 82-84 944 parts are the replacement parts for many of the 924 parts that are not going to work (like the heater box).
