The Porsche starts up then shuts off after 5 mins. It has new spark plugs, fuel pump, fuel filter, gas filter, air filter, battery , refference sensor and ignition coil. Its an automatic in case that matters(which i doubt). I checked all the grounds , the dme. Its starts up fine but after 5 mins it shuts off then when i try to re-start it, it wont restart unless i wait like 10 mins. If any has any ideas please reply thank you.

(Thanks for those of you who posted last time trying to help me.)

Yeah, I just read your last thread again....

What does it do when it shuts off? Say you going down the road and it dies....

So say you are going about 50 mph in 5th gear, does the tach needle immediately drop to zero or does it spool down with the motor?

Yeah the motor shuts off quick and the rpm tach just drops straight down to 0.

I'd but a voltmeter on the + of the coil and ground the other lead. Then place the meter where you can see it and run the car until it stops. See if the voltage drops.

Have you checked the ignition switch?

How did you check the DME?

I havn't checked the ignition swith yet. I checked the Dme by putting it in another 924 and it started fine and ran without a problem. This may sound stupid but i have a vold meter i just dont know how to use it. What setting do i put it in so i can read the voltage.

You should have a setting that says "DC Volts"

Is it an analog (has needle) or is it a digital one? What brand and model is it?

I have no idea. I bought it a few months ago. It has a digital screen and has two prongs with needles. One for pos. and neg.

The next time it won't start, pull the electrical connector to one of the injectors and see if it will start.
