Hi,

new problem today - while flooring it in 1st, twice today the power has disappeared completely, then comes back again - just for a moment there's nothing. Feels like loss of fuel, but that's a guess - could this happen with a dying fuel pump or should I look to the FPR? FPR is under a year old btw. (not that that means anything these days)

Certainly a distinct possibility. Is the fuel pump noisy? A noisy pump sometimes seems to indicate that it's failing.

I had a flat spot in mine at full throttle before I replaced the fuel pumps.

Cutting out while driving could be the ignition switch. Mine did that until I changed it.

ta, will keep an eye on it - have a spare ignition switch since all my alternator/loom probs. So when it happens next time I'll switch the switch!
