Yup. That's right. Electromotive TEC-3. Don't ask how much but I'll tell you this: The entire setup will cost more than what I originally paid for the car.... and more....

Anyone else running an Electromotive setup? My Electromotive HPX (or is it HPV) will now be pulled out. What to do with it; what to do.... hmmm... I think I'm gonna make it a new home in my dad's 1977 MGB so he gets rid of that stupid petronix's, second strike, distributor and all the problems that follow those stupid devices and replace it with the DIS.... yummie... He will be happy, I will be happy and my check book will be dry.......yet again.

I'll keep you all posted on what's happening. Going to receive the fuel rail from endwrench ((http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=15164&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0))soon and I can't wait to get this thing together![/url]

Is that the V8?? version, man those things are quick. There's a guy over here racing one in the MG cup and he is so far out in first you would second is another race.
Are you going to redesign your intake manifold at the same time??

Actually my dad's B is still the 4 cyl but with enough work to it that it really moves down the road. I would say it's a 8 second car 0-60 mph. Very impressive for that car. I would like to see it get into the 7 second range and I am sure the electromotive would help it get to that speed- that and the new Sebring body kit I bought for my dad that he needs to install that will lose the front and rear bumpers and drop over 60+ lbs off the car.

As far as my intake- no, I will use a TWM intake setup later but for right now I am going to use my stock intake manifold and adapt a chevy throttle body to it with an adapter plate and then do a really good bend to allow it to go out to the original location of where the intake filter was located.

So many details, so much credit card expenses...

Received the fuel rail the other day and went up to my brothers shop to blast it and paint it. Unfortunately I painted it in the dark and the paint ran so it doesn't look that great but it'll prevent it from rusting.

I'm getting the adapter plate CNC'ed by a friend; as well as getting a plate designed for the MAP sensor so it bolts on and is held in from falling out. I still need to get tubing to go from the intake tube out to the air filter that I am going to be buying... all these details are a lot! Don't worry folks, will post all the information to convert over to EFI on my website when I'm done.

Anyhow, this is quite fun! If only I didn't have so many other projects that are confusing me over this it'd be even easier!
