Near as I can figure, it's like doing things properly now, so you don't have a problem in the future.
Say, farming: Don't go and cut down all the trees on a gazillion acres of land 'cause later on that land's gonna be eroded and salinified(?) and basically useless. Farm animals that don't need huge grazing areas or farm fewer animals in a given area or make smaller clearings that aren't going to destroy the ecology...
Stuff like that. _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

Do a search on Permaculture to find out what sustainability is all about.
Most governments are using it just as a coined frase and no not what there talking about.
Permaculture was founded by two people in Australia, David Holmgren and Bill Mollison, about 30 years ago and there principals have not changed since.
It's not all just electric cars and renewable energy. If you don't like eating chemicals for breakfast then I suggest you look into it.
