It seems my nasty yellowed and dirty plastic radiator fluid expansion tank might look a whole lot better painted. Anyone ever do this? _________________ 1982 924 n/a |

I believe the tanks are nylon. I don't know of any paint that will stick to nylon for any length of time. _________________ 1980 924 Turbo |

yeah, paint wont stick to nylon, if you power wash your engine bay it will come off. its not worth painting imo _________________ '81 924 n/a |

Got to thinking maybe having it "Rihno Lined" might work. This stuff is pretty tough and would expand with the tank. Just a thought.
