I really should've cross-posted this earlier, sorry, but been a little busy.
The 2005 944Fest is happening this weekend in Mansfield, OH - just around the corner from Mid-Ohio. This is easily the biggest 944 gathering in the US, and has been going strong for a few years now.
ALL WATERBOYS are invited!

I should be there in my 82 931, unless something tragic happens (having just successfully rebuilt my turbo).
Anyone else from the board planning on being there?

WHAT a blast!!! You guys all missed out BIG TIME! A small handful of 24's there, including mine; Geoff from Denver got the long-distance trophy for driving his cherry 924S (which also earned him the Stock 8V win in Show) all the way.
Check out the threads on Rennlist for photos to see ALL you missed!

Notice the big GRIN on my face! And that's before we even got there!

Dyno'ed my 931, free... two very consistent runs, pretty much right on the money for a stock car: 122rwhp, 133ft-lbs torque. Very consistent traces, too, and it sounded LOVELY all wound out! I'd say the turbo rebuild worked! _________________ Vaughan Scott

I would have showed up as Mansfield is about an hour from my house...and I've been to Snowtrails boarding a few times, but I spent most of my weekend prepping the parts to do the 5-bolt and a minor* suspension upgrade . That should be done at the end of this week, or early next week for sure. Next year if it's in the central Ohio area I'll be sure to stop by. _________________ Mike
