Any 924 owners in So Cal? My 924 needs A LOT of work and someone with 924 experience would be of great help.
As long as I have your attention, what is the offset on a 78' 924? I am thinking about putting the 15 inch (23mm offset) phonedials from my 944 on the 924 (the phonedials are 5 lug setup, so I will probably need to change out a few things as well).
Thanks. |

I live in Pasadena and have an '80 924 and an '81 924 turbo.
With regard to a 5-bolt-brake-equipped 924:
Some people are using 23mm offset wheels, but then you're limited to 6" width, and they still stick out 16mm more than a 7" 52.3mm offset wheel would.
I've got 6" 924S phonedials on my 924 (52.3mm offset) and 7" and 8" flat-dish on the 924 turbo (both 52.3mm offset).
The 5-bolt brake upgrade is well worth it, IMO. _________________ Jon Furst |
