Any one keep in touch with him? He had a bad run of luck and wonder where he is at now? Plus still waiting on a refund or my parts. _________________ Bob Dodd - 924turbo@cox.net

I'm going to be in the Seattle area from Sat noon thru Wed AM. It will be a stretch, but if I can work it out, I'll drive up to his last address to see if he's still around. He didn't have telephone or email last time I was up there, so getting in touch with him remotely is next to impossible. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

One add'l thought...even if I find the dude, it is highly unlikely that he will be able to reimburse you in cash given what I saw the last time I was up there. Zuffen and Augi, PM with the parts you are owed ... the best case scenario might be that I can assist/motivate him into shipping your stuff. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Hey Ideola i'll save you the trip,he's gone.I was in Bellingham a few weeks ago and swung by his old place to see if he was still there and someone else has moved in.My best guess is that he's still in the area, one of his daughters lives just accross the line in Canada and i'm sure he wouldn't move away from her.I'm sure he just downsized from the spread he had.A shame about all of those parts though. _________________ 1979 Euro 931, Olive

Kenodog, thanks for the heads up. That's kind of bummer...I was really concerned for his mental and physical health. And of course it sucks that all those parts are god-knows-where, particularly since board members are on the short end of it.
On a somewhat related note, Lizard was supposed to be shipping me the remaining top end bits from his 4.7L 928 eurospec. He did ship the heads and valves to Musante, but all of the rest of the bits (intake, CIS, cams, etc.) were supposed to come directly to me. He sent me an email the day he was scheduled to leave saying he was having a friend help out with shipping the stuff. I know it takes a while to get to the states, but I'm getting nervous since I've not seen anything show up, nor have I had any communication. Any idea how to get ahold of him? _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
