| It's been raining off and on today and when I left work it started to rain heavily, so I take the long/ quiet way home. And pulling onto the highway in 3rd gear doing about 80 kph, I get the back out and keep it there for a few seconds. I'm on the gas and steering wheel trying to straighten it out and MAN OH MAN is my 11 1/2 inch steering wheel hard to turn with those big tires in a drift. I could barely move it! Anyway, the brakes work very well and all is fine with the beast. That's the third time this summer that it became "German" on me. |

Glad all is well.

I've played football for 12 years and then my arms weren't big enough to handle this situation!
Maybe if I reach out the window and turn the wheels by hand it would be easier?
Yes, I have a bigger wheel in mind. I have talked to a few guys on this board and have looked on the web and in a few shops in town.
My problem with finding a wheel is the style. I can't find one that will match my interior. I'm close to a deal with a board member for a wheel that should work well for my car.
P.S. Thanks for the help with the clutch purchase, I also bought the rear section of an exhaust and a few odds and ends. Was he a friend of yours?
Do you know arem rests are $300 US each?!
It would be cheaper to by a child off the black market to hold my arms up!

Glad he was able to help you. He and Mike Yager (the founder and owner) were staffing Tweek's stand at the Parade and I simply asked them to give you a hand and to extend the discount and shipping deal.
Mike's a great guy, he is "one of us". I almost bust a gut every time I see him giving Tom crap on Dream Car Garage. |
