Are you finished with the exterior now?
It looks sharp, just the front bumper draws some attention to the indents on the corners and the rivet looking bolts. But still an eye catcher, nice mirrors too, very stylish. |

nice - and I too like the wing - where didi you find that one and does it offer the same amount of downforce/performance as the stock 924 rubber wing does? _________________ 924.org (no time to complete)

Applebit, the car looks very nice. I really like the 968-style wing and mirrors. Have you considered the door handles as well to complete the look? _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Thanks guys- I found out I need a better air/fuel delivery for the engine setup and I should upgrade to 45 mm carbs, or just go fuel injection-- so I'm gonna go stand alone (A LOT OF MONEY!)
All the mounting of everything was done by the body shop... I'm gonna change the front end of the car to a 944 turbo style sometime next year after I take care of the engine... then no more rivets and much better looking (and just a little lighter)... Car wieght is approx 2300 lbs right now so I'm happy- but I want to put it on a diet and drop another 100 lbs (rear window changed to lexan and the rear suspension modifications next).
But first, the engine's gotta actually produce power...
And yes, I love the 968 add-ons... I don't know how easy it will be to change to the 968 door handles because supposedly the 78 might not work so well with those door handles... dunno yet... _________________ Classic British Sports Car Restoration v6 + v8 Engine Conversion Swaps
