Anyone know how to reattach the dipstick tube to the engine block? My dipstick tube came off with the dipstick. Now I need to reattach it.
Thanks, _________________ Rob

The dipstick tube just slides in the block. There is a clamp that screws into the intake bracket that holds the tube from coming out. _________________ 1980 931

| Could there be any way that the intake bracket won't be there? I will have to look at that tonight though. |

Well, no the bracket I am referring to is actually a support for the intake. It is definitely there. The clamp on the other hand may be missing. If it is I am sure I have one lying around somewhere. _________________ 1980 931

I would like to get the clamp if you do have an extra, if that is ok. The clamp is missing as I saw nothing that related a clamp on the engine block where the dipstick tube connects. Is it not a good idea to drive the car with the dipstick tube clampless? _________________ Rob
