An off-topic/anything goes board sounds like a good idea to me. _________________ Mike

if its considered, make sure its labeled with adults only and a sticky is posted in the forum to clearly explain a policy for posting. I know have rules for posting in a Sound Off forum seems contradictory, but the last thing we need, IMO, is a corner on the site that out of control a$$holes visit to post rude, racist, inconsiderate, immature, and otherwise absolute SPAM topics.
it sounds like fun, but I've seen them go south real quick.
my $.02

Agreed entirely.
I don't think it's a good idea. I reckon the General Discussion forum allows enough lattitude already. This is the 924Board, after all... _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

Likewise. It would only degenerate into a waste of bandwidth.
Let's stick to the subject in hand: P-cars! _________________ 1985 Porsche 924 'Lux', Kalahari Beige (my ex)

It's an interesting idea. A lot of boards have a "lounge" area which is restricted to members only which this board software will allow us to do.
If we did create a "members only" area it would be on the understanding that it was an adults-only "sandpit". I wouldn't want the admin inbox fill up with a whole lot of "Please Sir, John just said f**k in the lounge" PMs.
Anyway, if enough people want it we can built it. _________________ 1979 924 (Gone to a better place)

I'm not saying this will happen here at all, especially since were are dealing with a whole different set/type of people. I just want to make sure that if it moves forward, that we have good, responsible, mature, and FAIR moderaters that will continue to take care of business appropriately.
