does the accumulator from a early 924 work - fit on a 1980 turbo 924? They look the same but are they?

how early? The '76-'78 (or maybe it's through late '77?) have a dual accumulator setup. All the single accumulator cars use the same part.

Early used 2 smaller 20cc accumulators while later used 1 larger 40cc. The '80 turbo would have had the single 40cc. That's what you need - one 40cc with the same size fittings as the one that was on it previously.
