Quote:
The rear suspension is far less common and harder to understand, since it is an unusual torsion bar arrangement. The positive side of this is that camber and toe are adjustable simply by loosening bolts and moving parts to the correct location. The downside is that both toe and camber are adjusted at the same time, and getting them both right at the same time can be tricky. There is an eccentric bolt provided to adjust camber, but control of the toe at the same time is not possible - unless you have the Porsche tool! The tool is P221 (right), and fortunately can be bought new for less than $20. If you plan on aligning your car yourself, it's a must-have. If you plan on having the alignment done professionally, either find a mechanic who has this tool (and can therefore correctly adjust your rear alignment) or consider buying one.

Anyway, this tool P221 costs more than 150$ in local dealership, so could anyone give me measurements of that thing and I can have this in no time and very little money? Please?

I don't know what shipping would cost you but here's one in the states on ebay for much less.

That's insane, they're $22 over here.

Maybe Jason will ship over there?
http://www.paragon-products.com/product_p/p221.htm

Small pin is 12mm dia, 9mm long. Large dia is 21.7mm (might be worn down from 22) and 13mm long. Hex is for 24mm wrench (actual is about 23.75mm) and about 20mm long.

HTH...

This would need verification, but for some reason I recall that a spare camber eccentric bolt can be used to adjust the toe*. Not sure if or where I read that because I can't find it now.
Obviously you got them already, but the measurements for the tool are easy enough to find - the diameter of the outer hole of the toe adjustment at the spring plate = the diameter of the larger round part of the tool and the width of the inner slot of the toe adjustment = the diameter for the smaller part of the tool.
I actually used a large screwdriver to pry at the toe adjustment when I did mine - http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/smoothies931pics/detail?.dir=a7d5&.dnm=e941.jpg&.src=ph (but I'd recommend using the tool if you can get one)

* - Ok the camber eccentric bolt would be of limited use - (usable, but it wouldn't give you the full range of toe adjustment). Its' larger diameter measures 17.9mm (vs. the correct tools' 21.7mm) - http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/smoothies931pics/detail?.dir=a7d5&.dnm=bbe2.jpg&.src=ph

The toe adjustment opening on my car measures 21.8mm - http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/smoothies931pics/detail?.dir=/a7d5&.dnm=c08d.jpg&.src=ph

A 7/8" shouldered bolt measures 21.9mm diameter at the unthreaded portion. That and a 12mm shouldered bolt could be used to make a rear toe adjust tool - cut the 7/8" bolt leaving only ≈12mm of the unthreaded part, drill that (or drill+tap it) to accept the 12mm bolt, then trim off excess from the 12mm bolt. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/smoothies931pics/detail?.dir=/a7d5&.dnm=6252.jpg&.src=ph

Hey, I went ahead and made me one a' dem. 7 pics starting here - http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/smoothies931pics/detail?.dir=/a7d5&.dnm=553e.jpg&.src=ph
Total cost was just over $6... $2.80 for the big bolt and $3.38 for the smaller one (due no doubt to the highly specialized nature of the metric bolt 'round these parts ).

Thanks Smoothie! My metal piece should be ready for now, I'll go and see in the shop today. Oh, and I had them to make me two new banjo fitting bolts too for 931 oil lines (oled were stretched and cracked). All this for app. 25 bucks
But all this could become handy for someone who wants to get himself a rear suspension adjustment tool
