My 78 924 won't idle, it'll start, just won't stay running. When I press on the pedal it dies intstantly? Checked the cold start valve, warm up regulator, and the rest, they proper working order. Timing is correct to what the Haynes manual calls for? The only thing I do notice is that as soon as I switch the key on the fuel pump starts ruuning? From past posts and reading the book, I thought the pump won't come on until you actually crank t he engine? Don't know much about the accumulators, would they be a factor? |

I'm guessing the mixture setting is off. _________________ Vaughan Scott

Is it running for a few seconds, or is it running continously?
For a few sec's it's ok, if it stays on you have a bypassed fuel pump relay. The fuel pump relay is the top-left relay on the board. |
