| I have an 88, 924S with the following problem. The wipers just periodically start and will run continueously at the intermittent speed. While this is occurring, I can use the wiper switch and adjust the wiper speeds between low, high and intermittent, but I can not stop the wipers when I position the switch in its normal off position. My solution was to pull the fuse and hope for no rain, but could the problem be in the relay, wiper switch or a gounding issue ? Thanks in advance for any solutions you maybe able to provide. |

I would say try changing the relay first.
If that does not fix the problem, my guess is that the motor is history. |

Looks to me like it could just be the wiper switch plate ground problem. Try a look here - http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=15619 _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

| Thanks to the gentlemen for their ideas, I'll try cleaning the switch ground first and then go from there. I'm new at this 924 board so I hope this message gets back to the people making these suggestions. Thanks again. |
