I just received a diecast '85 924 made by Minichamps that I purchased on ebay. What a beautiful model. The model has exceptional detail. If your into diecast models and you're a 924 type of person, this is a gotta have. I have a small collection of diecast cars and this is by far the nicest (except maybe the '67 Fairlane I have where the windows go up and down). I cant wait till a 931 comes out but for now this is great. _________________ 1980 924 turbo |

Yeah, I've seen two different minichamps 924 models, both seemed rather pricey. I've got a couple of die-casts, can't recall the makes but they're both very nice... _________________ Mars Red '78 Euro 924 n/a

According to my local model supplier, Minichamps were taken over a couple of years ago by a company called IXO, a Porsche 924 is listed in their trade catalogue at a sensible price. Apparently IXO release different models in batches, I ordered mine before christmas.........still waiting ! I have the full set of Rover Metro 6r4s', 3 models, took 3 years.....worth it though ! _________________ 1981 NA 924 - Daily driver/sprints/hillclimbs

About a year ago I could have gotten them for factory cost. Not much response and the price would have been about 55 plus freight. I had to buy 6.
I did see this car in Feb and they are being allocated, so if a dealer wanted say 48 he might get 6. I can still get them but not at that price.
More like 65 for I now have to buy them from a wholesaler.
Then some guys will ask for them in black, white, green, red or any other color their car is. I only saw them in red, period. _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"
