Does anyone know if strut bars from other cars work for the 931? Like a neon strut bar or something? _________________ [This Space For Rent] |

The KLA Industries one is pretty cheap; the only problem is clearance over the intake.
I'll be re-working mine one of these days, replacing the straight bar with a bent center section. _________________ Vaughan Scott

Which is the KLA industry one?? Link? Price? Thanks..
I was thinking maybe one off ebay for 15-20 bucks and then another 25 for shipping.. Like my last car used a Neon strut bar which were a dime a dozen.. _________________ [This Space For Rent] |

Learn to weld. It's easy to make a couple of end plates with a drill press, then hot bend a chunk of 3/4" conduit, flatten the ends with a vice and weld it to the end plates. It doesn't have to be perfect, as long as the centre to centre distance of the bolt holes on the end plates are right, since the bar will flex a little as needed. _________________ '81 931 in various states of assembly |
