Any tips on how to quikly remove the engine without damage to the engine I don't care if I damage the car I want to pull the engines out of my 2 parts cars and get rid of the bodies.
If I can finally get rid of them then I will have a shop to do work in again. I've had enough working outside in the heat. If I can actually get it so I can use the shop I'll be able to work on the cars in the summer. _________________ 80 924

| The last parts car we had we cut the nose off then dropped the struts and crossmember. The engine came out the front real easy. |

drop the front crossmember, pull the rad, and then undo the 4 bolts to torque tube, and the 2 bolts for the motor mounts then lower engine slightly and pull forward to clear cross member and lift out (provided fuel system and electrical already pulled _________________ 3 928s, |

Yep, you can even drop the whole drivetrain down a bit after you unbolt the motor mounts- then you can get to the torque tube bolts more easily.
Or, Cut the entire car in half with a torch just behind the dash. Then you can get to the torque tube bolts really easily...

That doesn't sound to bad with any luck I can get started tommorow night. The torque tube has already been disconnected from both engines along with the exhaust. I have large wire cutters to remove any wires the harnesses are way past salvage anyways. So it shouldn't take to long then I just need to get them hauled off.
I'm going to have a very busy year. _________________ 80 924

hmmmm although you didnt say if it was important to keep the motor together get a hoist if not though jack the frnt & remove crossmember and take engine down and drop blck & remove from underneath..if yer strong enough pull head off whole with intake & exhaust. Youll be popin out the pistons soon enough awe forget it just use the hoist thatll be fastest. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na
