I'm painting my car next summer {90% chance of it}
And I think Guards Red {Porsche colour} just isn't redish enough {a little orangey}.
I like the colour on the Formula One Ferrari's:
Here is the exterior of my car and engine bay:
Question 1.Is the Rossa Corsa in the first two pictures a nice red?
Question 2.If I put the F1 red on the exterior and leave the guards red in my engine bay will it look moronic?
Thanks. |

Ferrari have probably copyrighted the colour so you can't use it _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

i think the two shades of red will look fine, and it wont be very noticeable. After all, when you pop the hood, your concentrating on the engine bay, which minimizes any contrast that might result... _________________ Eric

I think if you paint the pinch-weld around the inside of the bay black, it make a nice border, sort of how a two tone car would have a stripe where the color changes. _________________ 78-924 red , my first real car at age 44.

Save some of the Rosso Corsa for your cam cover. Then you can claim to have a genuine 'Testarossa'! _________________ 1985 Porsche 924 'Lux', Kalahari Beige (my ex)
