I measured the distance from the bottom of the rear of the door to the placement of the flares and it is 1 7/8 in. Mark both of them in the same spot. Alignment is the key. I posted to another of your postings on what I did. Special bonding material.
This job is not for the faint hearted. Especially when you have to cut the body.
Drill holes in the new flares just for alignment. Then if you are happy with the look drill new holes without taking out the pilot holes. When you are happy with the fit screwed on the fender remove and epoxy it to the body with the screws holding it tight to the body. I will have to get you the name of the product. Fiberglass the holes and paint.
Important. I drilled holes only on the outside of the flares and then used self taping screws through the strip. If you go all the way through you will lose strength and the flares will move. I hope you understand this and if not you can call me. _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"
