i have heard you guys talk about maching the cams for more power. i have all the resources needed to do this my self does any on know where to get the drafts specs/ blueprints for a config. that works?if so and if it works i may be able to get some done for some of you guys. let me know

You're going to have a hard time getting someone to give you a profile that they've come up with so you can regrind your own cam. If you have the right tools on hand to profile the cam, you might as well just try to keep roughly the same ramping profile, and grind for slightly increased lift, and however much more duration you want.
Keep in mind, when you take material off of the lobes, you have to compensate by shimming the lifter to bring it closer to the camshaft. _________________ '81 931 in various states of assembly |
