When I was doing a research for my article about wreckyards, I found one trashed Xedos 6 with Miller-cycle V6 engine. They use IHI supercharger and I thought about installing it on wifes 924NA. Any suggestions, comments, tips?

Looks like this:

It is hard to tell from your picture and I know nothing about them but it looks like length may be an issue. If it can be physically mounted and driven I am sure it would do wonders for the 924. With a little research you may be able to mount it in a low boost setup without an IC. DIS or some other programmable ignition would be nice to go along with it though.

dimensions are little bit confusing, because its original location is between the banks of the 2.3L V6 engine which is not taller than inline 4 of 924. It is just so thin

Right now I've read about it that it's mado by IHI and is Lysholm type blower. It is considered to be the most efficient one. Anyways, I'll check the dimensions ASAP.

it will fit in the bay, I have seen these in person, the oil lines will be right at the back of the engine,
if you have the tools to be able to refresh it DO IT

You know, this may actually make a geat little blower to bolt up direct to a custom intake manifold. With a bit of fabricating I would think the stock CIS could be maintained. Pulley it for 4-5 lbs boost and let it rip! It would look pretty cool to!

I agree do it!
You will need to take care with boost pressures obviously. Less obvious is the need to not overspeed it. If your intake/exhaust track is at all restrictive you may get heat build up so measure it when you get it running.

Cant say what the temp limit is for this blower, others may know. For my Eaton its 150 degrees.

Cheers
Simon

Interesting concept.... I know that the 2.3 Miller cycle engine flows very well, the duration is just plain excessive with that design, because the intake valve stays open until the inertia of the charge entering the cylinder is overcome by the piston forcing it out.
