I guess the spiderweb alloys weigh more than the standard 8 spoke wheels, but does anybody know the respective weights?

cant see any 924 wheels there.


i weighed my 16x7 and 16x8 fuchs last week, IIRC the 7's were 7.5kg and the 8's were 8.5kg with spacers (8kg without). the work scales i used are callibrated regularily

Thanks for the link..couldn't see what I want either. Guess I'll just have to run with the assumption that they are a bit heavier.

keen as a bean

i had a section at work pull my tyres off and i was going to have our paintshop strip them for me.
where abouts in northland are you Gram? last time i was up that was early last year in Hihi, Doubtless bay

neat! small world! its beautiful up there. i was there on 'adventure training' with my sqn in the airforce. we did the usual kayaking, tramping, mountain biking, etc but we also do community service.

we went to a local primary school in that township near hihi and painted a few classrooms, planted trees and plants, dug up gardens and barked them and playgrounds and built some playground playthings and shingled a long path. had a ball!

Hey, interesting. And altho my girls have long since left school, thanks to you and the other guys for the work you did at the school. My parents actually live close by, and the WIP was duly noted and much appreciated

I only know that the 15x6 phonedials weigh about 20 lbs each. which seems heavy for a mag wheel, so maybe the bathroom scale isn't good at low weights.
