New plugs, wires, rotor, distributor cap, jacobs ignition, filters, starter, fuel pump.. Cranks, but no start, not even a gurgle. tried starting fluid, it did nothing. Any suggestions? Car hadn't been started in two years.

Since starting fluid didnt help I am guessing that there is no spark.

check for spark first, then measure the resistance of the coil and let us know what you find, but seeing as you wired in a jacobs ign system you probably just have a wire that isnt right.

You have to check for spark like stated then make sure the
fuel pumps worken... you should be able to hear it if it is pull a injector
and while the key is on and the fuel pump running might have to use a jumper wire in place of the fuel relay take off the eair cleaner and push up the plunger under the fuel distributor to get the injector to squirte
this is nade much easier to explain by reading the Haynes porsche 924
manual available from your local auto parts stores and also the info might be available on line on this site in the faq & technical sections. You
really need directions to trouble shoot a manual will help. Do you
have one.
