Hi There.

My 1987 924s with automatic transmission is stuck in reverse. The shift linkage at the rear, near the transmission broke. The littel ball that is attached to the shift level of the transmission broke off due to corrosion. Is there a way to take off the level with the ball so it can be removed externally? Do I pry it off after I remove the 15mm retaining nut and the small snap ring? Any information or diagrams from shop manuals or something would be very much appreciated.
