I pulled the car into the middle spot of the garage this morning, and shut it off, then I cleaned the inside a bit. Started it again, let it run for 5 minutes, shut it off. Checked the oil, cleaned some more and tryed to start it again. But all I got was a nice loud click, and a hum(fuel pump?). I'm guessing the click is the starter solenoid not engaging so should I pull the starter and replace the solenoid? I already tryed jumping the car off of a charger and another car with no luck. Thanks.

Make sure the starter to motor bolts are tight and clean.

Make sure your battery cable clamps are clean and fastened tightly.

Make sure the connections at the starter are clean and tight.

Make sure the battery is fully charged.

Then if it won't start, remove the starter and take it for a free test at your local auto parts store.

Well I got 3 out of 4 of those, I'll be checking the starter bolts today after class. Thanks.
