The “Omaha Crew” is getting together for some Porsche talk and bench racing the first Saturday in March, March 5th to be exact. This month the meeting will be for breakfast at the Village Inn in Bellevue. The restaurant is located on Fort Crook Road north of Cornhusker. The address is 309 Fort Crook Road, and it is on the east side of the road. For those of you from out of town, another name for Fort Crook Road is US Highways 73 &75.
The discussion is open to a variety of topics, but this month the main items for discussion are:
Itinerary for Club Jet trip to the Indy 500
Alternate Plans for the Club Yacht to go to Monte Carlo for the
Gran Prix
Finalize design for club apparel
Planning for trip to Mid America Funfest
Plans for Club racing Project
Because of its very political nature, the subject of Elkhorn’s annexation of Riverside Lakes will not be discussed. However, the proposed annexation of Omaha by Chicago will be a topic of discussion.
After the meeting the group will stop off at the Cub Scout bake sale at Bakers Supermarket, to make sure Rob son's project gets off to a good start, and then proceed to Jim's new shop to help him get ready for some vary serious wrenching this spring.
Hope to see some new faces from the area. All water-cooled devotees are invited. If you have any questions send me a PM or e-mail me at tcooper40@cox.net.
See you there, and keep the shinny side up.
