Saturday will be the first Saturday in February, and the “Omaha Crew” will once again meet for a little bench racing. The meeting will be a luncheon meeting at the restaurant at Mahoney State Park off I-80 between Lincoln and Omaha. If you’re just motoring by on I-80 at that time be sure to drop in.

I went to the membership list and tried to get everyone that listed an address of either Iowa or Nebraska a PM, but if you don’t’ have your location listed, or I just plain missed you, please feel free to drop by and check us out.

See you Saturday, and keep the shinny side up.

This is just a friendly reminder that the “Omaha Crew” will meet tomorrow at Mahoney State Park between Lincoln and Omaha. It looks like the weather is going to be exceptional for this time of year, so there no excuse not to get the Porsche up and running early this year. What could be better that a nice spirited drive through the rolling hills of eastern Nebraska and then lunch with a scenic view of the Platte River Valley. .

We will meet for lunch at the restaurant in the main lodge at 11:30. You will need enough time to stop at the ranger station and get a day pass to the park, a $3.00 value, and then get to the lodge by 11:30.

The meeting is over, only the three originals came. We had a good time never the less. Good food, good company, and the weather was fairly nice. Convoyed back to town via the back highways.

Sure would like to see a lot more cars in one of those convoys.

This is the lodge where the meeting was held, Tom in the foreground.

Here are those three lonely cars again. One even came without a driver, ops no sorry that’s mine.

Maybe warm weather will bring more people out.

We are also planning a trip this summer. I will let Don or Tom Post about that.
