Hey guy I have this problem with my power windows
the motors are getting 9 volts is that normal? I have tried different switches and I have tested for voltage but the windows will just nopt go up and down. Could someone please tell me if this is a sign of dead motors or something else

Probably something else.

Check the power window relay (J?).

Hey Jason, iirc we hooked power up to the windows directly and they worked correct?

also was that 9 volts with the car running or not?
also verify that you have ground to the switch and the ground is clean.

The windows should be getting a nominal 12v. The window relay is not on the relay board, but is probably clipped somewhere up under dash by the firewall, perhaps on part of the heater box or ducting. Be advised that all your switches and associated wiring has to be good or else you will get wierd behavior (if any at all).
