Last summer I had to rebuild my car A/C compressor because it was leaking gas
Now that the hot days are near (Southern hemisphere) It appears that again the gas is missing

Is there some special issues with our cars A/C??

do I have to put in gas every summer??

thanks in advance for your knowledge

Check the bottom hose, where it goes into the evaporator. If you see a build-up of oil around the fitting, that is where your leak is. My 931 was leaking there. I used silicone glue to seal the fitting, and have not had to add R12 in seven years.

I had the same problem with mine, I was losing R12 every week. Turned out that the dehydrator ( black metal cylindrical container under the left headlight) was rusty.

Replaced it about 4 months ago, still blows cold air, so probably fixed it. I say that because the first diagnosis was that the compressor was dead. Ouch!!!!
