...if the timing components (belts, rollers, tensioners, etc.) from an '87 924S 2.5 will work in an '87 944 2.5???

The parts should be the same with the possible exception that the 924S may, or may not have the spring loaded timing belt tensioner (depending on when it was made, and the 87 944 should have spring loaded timing belt tensioner.
So, the 87 944 engine will probably need an extra tensioner pulley that the 924S may not have. |
