To each his own, the looks of that car do nothing for me. Kind of garish. _________________ Dan Flanagan--2002 VW Jetta TDI, 83 Mercedes 300D,83 Mercedes Euro-240D |

| I like the yellow one best, it shows the lines very well and the black pieces finish it off. As soon as I get to Quebec, I'm looking at this car. |

I saw one parked in the paddock at the Road America ALMS. It was a racing green one. No way is that car is worth $41K!
Looked tiny and wierd, and to think, I almost put a deposit on one last year!
I guessing used ones will be $25K within 3 years. |

I am not big on paying full pop for anything. And as a general rule I always let some other owner drive the car off the lot. So you say 25k in 3 years? My understandind is, these cars have been in production for nearly 5 years. So you mean this years car will be 25k in '07-'08, or the first models a few years ago will be 25k in 3 years?
I think this would be the car I am most interested in test driving.

I was really hyped about this car until I saw one.
IMO, 2005 models will be selling for around $25K by this time in 2007. The hype reminds me of the TR-7 and TR-8 cars of the 70's. |

I would have to add about 9 grand to the price {US into Cdn}. I think for the performance, acceleration, turning, stopping etc... it's a good deal. I don't know what other car it could be compared to. It's as quick as a Ferrari {minus the top speed} it turns and stops like a Porsche and it's priced like a ford. |

Yes, it is close to the same price, but the year old Boxter has poopie reviews. I haven't gone to find much about it but it doesn't impress me as much as the Lotus. |

I'd buy a Boxter like i'd buy a Miata. Then i'd have my breasts enlarged and my thingy chopped off... _________________ 1979 Euro 931, Olive

Well after you upgrade your 931 to 210 hp, drop by and if you can beat my 931 (if I ever get it off the jack stands), then you can try to beat my Boxster.
The Boxster is more fun than any 911 on a back road. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

Actually truth be told my breasts are probably large enough, and believe me that's not a good thing. And I wouldn't mind racing your 931 but I think YOU should come here, less snow this time of year.Actually no snow it's 12 centigrade and sunny.
And if I get to spend $42k on a car to beat a Boxster on some backroads i'll show up in a marginaly modified WRX STI.
What's the matter, your not smiling anymore.
